Anna » Filmography » The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Character: Susan Pevensie
Director: Andrew Adamson
Writer: Andrew Adamson (screenplay), C. S. Lewis (novel)
Release Date: May 16th, 2008
Current Status: Set for DVD release December 17th 2008

The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.

Anna's Role

Anna reprises her role as Susan Pevensie, the second eldest of the Pevensie children. The movie explores and alludes to Susan's displacement from Narnia and heralds in her growing up. The role of Susan is portrayed at the beginning of the movie as indifferent to the past year's experience, finding interest in clothing and tabloids. The movie plays on the tension present between the characters of Prince Caspian and Susan; they share a kiss at the end of the movie, although it was not scripted in the original text. This movie also sparks the end of the journeys of the two eldest Pevensie children.
